Legal Info about Submitting Content to ACR
By submitting information to ACR you hearby agree that I and my staff have the right to post, or not to post, your content anywhere on ACR or ACR Forums. I or my staff, for any reason, could choose not to allow your content on ACR. All copyrights will still be titled in your name and credit will always be given to the submitter of the information.
How will this work?
Here is the low down of Submitting to ACR. Once you submit the content to ACR you will be contacted via email so that the details and conditions may be discussed. Then, if your information is accepted, we will supply the following info when we post your content:
Name: What ever name you wish to be credited as.
Email: If do not want your email address posted you need simply tell us and we won't post it.
Link: A link to the original content.(If info was originatd from another site.)
Once your info has been accepted you will be featured in the Hall of Fame.
I Noticed I have to enter my Email Adress!
You don't need to worry. We will NOT give, sell or transmit in anyway, your email adress outside of me and my staff with out your express and typed permission. The Email adress will only be used so that I and the ACR Staff are able to contact you about your submitted info.
Guidelines for exceptable content:
These are the basic guidelines for exceptable content. To improve the chances of your content being featured on ACR try to make sure your content conforms to these guidelines.
- Content must be fammily friendly. No profanity of any kind is accepted.
- Please do NOT submit multiple copies of your info to gain our attention or to try to pester us into posting it. This will not work. Sending multiple copies will severly LOWER your chances of getting in. And don't worry, we WILL respond to your submission even if it didn't make it in.
- Please do not submit info we already have posted. For example we already have a perfect town guide, so please don't send us another.
- Make sure to label any content you submit using the subjet pull down menu of the form. This will help us better understand your request and make the whole process go smoother.
- Please don't put in a fake email adress! If you don't provide us with a valid email address we'll have no way of contacting you and your content will not be accepted.
- Your content may not be in whole or in part the property of anyone other than yourself unless you have evidence that they gave you permission to submit it. Copying peoples work is ILLEGAL and if you are discovered to have submitted such a guide with out stating that someone else may own it you will be banned from submitting content to ACR! So please be carefull about that. We take copyright infringement very seriously.
NOTE: Just because your content meets these guidelines does NOT mean your content is automattically in. Nor does failier to meet one or all of the guidelines mean you are automatically out.
Ok! I'm ready! How do I do it?!
It's easy. Simply fill out the forum below and click submit. If you have any questions about anything related to Submitting Content to ACR please post it on the appropriate board on ACR Forums.
Please remember to select the appropriate subject of the content from the drop down menu. Here is a list of what each subject pertains to:
- AC:Wii - Have some news regaurging AC:Wii? If so please select this subject.
- AC:WW - Guides for AC:WW should have this lable.
- ACGC - Guides for ACGC should have this lable.
- Affiliation - Interested in Affiliating with ACR? Submit an affiliation request with this lable. For more info on Affiliating with ACR please go here.
- Calendar - Do you have an important release date for a game or event in ACGC/ACWW you'd like to share with us all? Give it this lable. Before submitting a new event please check here to make sure we don't already have it.
- Help - If you're confused or have questions just make sure to lable them with this lable. This lable should also be used to report any technical issues you may be experiencing with the site.
- Other - Select this lable for feedback or if you are reporting inappropriate content found on ACR or on one of ACR's Affiliates. Also use this lable to report copyrighht isues with any of our content.
